  4. Viewing Your New Content
  5. ------------------------

  7. After you install a new content variety pack or downloaded add-on
  8. pack, your new content will be displayed in front of your old
  9. content in the Card Bins.  If you want to only view content from
  10. your new pack, go to the Inventory Book and turn off all of the
  11. content except your new pack.

  14. CACARD.EXE Update For CreataCard Version 1.0x
  15. ---------------------------------------------
  16.  
  17. If you have CreataCard Plus, CreataCard Special Edition, or
  18. CreataCard Internet Edition version 1.01 to 1.04, the Variety Pack
  19. setup program will update your CACARD.EXE file to version 1.05.
  20. If you have CreataCard version 2 or later, this section does not
  21. apply to you.
  22.  
  23. CACARD.EXE version 1.05 contains the following changes:
  24.  
  25. 1. The Inventory Book has a new look.  You'll be able to tell, at
  26.    a glance, what CreataCard content is installed on the hard
  27.    drive and what content is available on CD-ROM.  You can still
  28.    view any or all content from either drive.
  29.  
  30. 2. Since you may now have more than one CreataCard content CD-ROM,
  31.    the Inventory Book is the place to go when you want to change
  32.    to another CD-ROM while CreataCard is running.  Click the
  33.    "Change CD" button and insert the desired CD-ROM.
  34.  
  35. 3. Half fold cards, printed to the Canon BubbleJet 610, will now
  36.    print centered correctly.  Previously, half fold cards would
  37.    print slightly off center on this particular printer.
  38.  
  39. 4. The Self-Mailer feature will now use the Alternate Mailing Name
  40.    field from Forget Me Not.  Previously, this field was not
  41.    available in the Self-Mailer screen.
  42.  
  43. 5. Previously, it was possible to bypass the Kid Lock screen and
  44.    access locked content.  This has been fixed.
  45.  
  46. NOTE: If you install or reinstall CreataCard Plus, CreataCard
  47.       Special Edition, or CreataCard Internet Edition after you
  48.       have installed a content variety pack, you will lose the
  49.       updated CACARD.EXE and will no longer be able to access your
  50.       variety pack content through the Inventory Book.  To fix
  51.       this problem, simply reinstall your variety pack.

  54. Backing Up Your CreataCard Files
  55. --------------------------------
  56.  
  57. It's a good practice to occasionally back up your files.  However,
  58. it is very important that you back up the CreataCard directory
  59. before uninstalling, deleting, or reinstalling any CreataCard
  60. application.  Specifically, you should back up the following
  61. subdirectories and files:
  62.  
  63.    1. the Addon subdirectory and all of its contents
  64.    2. the Data subdirectory and all of its contents
  65.    3. the Cacard.ini file
  66.    4. the Vp.cc1 file
  67.  
  68. This will ensure that you do not lose any cards which you have
  69. created and saved yourself, any content that you purchased
  70. separately, or any data generated by the application.
  71.
